Hey there, fabulous friends and followers!
So, let’s talk about a little something we’re shaking up this week: the notorious word “just.” Yep, that’s right! We’re kicking it to the curb because, let’s face it, it’s time for an upgrade in our vocabulary game. 🚀
You know that feeling when you start a sentence with “just”? Like, “Hey, I’m just checking in…” Well, let’s hit pause on that. Because when we say “just,” we unintentionally diminish our own authority. And let’s be real, we’ve got loads of that!
Picture this: You’re not “just” a teacher. Oh no, you’re a superhero in the classroom, shaping young minds and inspiring futures! 💫 You’re not “just” doing the dishes or the laundry – you’re orchestrating the symphony of your household, keeping everything running smoothly like the true domestic goddess you are.
The word “just” has this sneaky way of downplaying the significance of the work we’re doing or the problems we’re tackling. Saying, “I’m just a mom” or “I just did the dishes” subtly implies that what we do isn’t a big deal or doesn’t require the recognition it truly deserves. But let’s set the record straight – every task, every challenge we conquer, is a big deal. Let’s banish “just” and give ourselves the credit we deserve.
So, let’s flip the script. Instead of saying, “I’m just a mom,” let’s proudly declare, “I am a mom, hear me roar!” 🦁 Because being a mom? That’s a full-time gig, no “just” about it.
And you know what else? When we banish “just” from our vocabulary, we’re not only empowering ourselves, but we’re also setting an example for our kids. We’re teaching them that every task, big or small, deserves respect and acknowledgment.

So, my dear besties, let’s embrace this little linguistic revolution. Let’s eliminate “just” and celebrate the awesomeness of all that we do. Because whether we’re conquering the boardroom or the kitchen sink, we are unstoppable forces to be reckoned with!
Here’s to kicking “just” to the curb and embracing our power – one word at a time. Cheers to us, the mighty moms, the fierce teachers, the incredible women who make the world go ’round!
✨Until next time! With love and solidarity, ✨
Lindsay ❤️
